Native American Hand Carved Seated Buffalo Headdress Warrior w Mini Buffalo Dance Stick
Hand carved by Native American artist Jim Little Wounded, Minneconjou Lakota, he creates the image of a historical Buffalo Warrior, their signature head gear was made from an entire buffalo head.
Jim uses wood that has been carved, stained and painted. He decorates the piece with a leather apron that is beaded and painted, adds leather moccasins that are also beaded and ankle bracelets made from glass beads and metal bells.
The headdress is made from buffalo fur and features horns, Jim attaches a small buffalo shield and a miniature buffalo dance stick. The piece commemorates the relationship between the warrior and the buffalo.
The piece is signed by the artist.
