Native American Hand Beaded Sheath w Knife: Geometric Design

Local Oglala Lakota Nation member Kevin D. Fast Horse Sr., hand beads this beautiful knife sheath with hand cut glass Italian beads, they are an old stock apple green color for the background.

Kevin created the geometric designs with these same old stock glass Italian beads. He puts his beadwork on commercial leather wrapped around tooling leather. The edge of the sheath is laced together with more commercial leather. The actual sheath is 10 inches long by 3 inches wide with a 1 inch opening.

The knife is made from real deer antler attached to a cold forged iron blade. The actual knife measures 13 1/2 inches  long by 3 inches wide. The piece is signed by the artist.
