Native American Hand Beaded Crow Cradle: 3 Band Beadwork on White Leather

Created by hand, Crow Tribal Member Marlene Stewart uses the signature beadwork design of the Crow Nation. Thew top few can be seen both as what is the foreground and which is the background.

Marlene uses glass beads on commercially tanned white deer leather. The cradle is attached to a board back and utilizes three large bands to tie down the baby inside the soft leather. She adds two metal bells and long thick fringe off of the top of the cradle.
