Native American Crow Beadwork Style Strike-a-Lite Bag: Beaded & Quilled

Native American beadwork artist Travis Tremblay, Listuguj Mi’kmaq Nation member (Canada), likes the beadwork styles of many Nations. This bag is styled after the Crow Nation or Apsaalooke People, the trick is to make is hard to know which is the forefront design and which is the background.

The actual bag measures 3 1/4 inches wide by 3 1/4 inches tall. He puts his beadwork on smoke brain tanned deer hide. Travis finishes the piece with porcupine quillwork slats at the bottom of the bag.
