Native American Carved Red Horse Dance Stick w Wrapped Handle
Native American artist Evans Flammond Sr., Sicangu Lakota, creates a stylized dance stick with a nice leather wrapped handle. Evans secures the leather wrap with metal tacks.
Evans carves the dance stick from wood and then paints it with acrylic paints. He uses metal tack s for the eyes and real horse hair for the forelock and mane. He finishes the piece with leather fringe, glass and metal beads.
Length 17 | Width 7 | Deep 2 inches.
The leather fringe hangs an additional 11 inches.
