Native American Beaded Bag w Beaded Strap: Tipi Bag w Bear Paw Design
Local Oglala Lakota beadwork artist Brenda DuBray, hand beads this beautiful bear paw design onto commercially tanned deer leather. The whole design is fantastic.
Brenda adds beaded rosettes with metal centers or leather dangles. The leather dangles feature metal cones, metal, bone and glass beads. She even added two metal bells with abalone shell. The back of the bag is decorated with metal spots.
She finishes the bag with a beaded shoulder strap. The actual usable area of the bag measures 10 inches tall by 12 1/2 inches wide by 5 inches deep.
