Chapters open with historical pictures by photographers such as Gardner and Bell. Plains culture with art and artifacts is discussed and shown in color. These works were published in conjunction with the exhibition entitled The Plains Indian, exhibited at the Muse du Quai Branly in Paris, France, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
There are pages filled with wonderful imagery and explanations to go with. A must have for the "coffee table" collector.
