Honoring the Bear (Mato) Native American Hand Carved Horse Dance Stick

Jim hand carves the dance stick from wood, he stains the wood and then paints bear paws and the emerging spirit of a bear. Jim adds a beaded amulet that is the image of the warrior, it will make it easier for the horse and warrior to find each other in the Spirit world.

Jim finalizes the decoration of the dance stick with a spray of feathers on the horses head, brass bells for the mane, real horse hair for the tail and imitation eagle feathers.

The piece is signed by the artist.
